24th Pacific Science Congress (PSC-24)
13-17 July 2020, Shantou University, China
We are pleased to announce the 24th Pacific Science Congress (PSC-24) will be held at Shantou University in Shantou, China from 13-17 July 2020. The PSC-24 is organized by Shantou University, and co-hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), and the Pacific Science Association.
Pacific Science Congresses provide an inter-disciplinary platform for scientists from across the Asia-Pacific region to meet to discuss and review new and emerging research and priorities in the region. We encourage participation of both young and senior scientists from both the natural and social sciences. The Congress is also intended to directly facilitate cross-disciplinary interaction and to help forge new collaborative partnerships.
The proposed theme of the Congress is “Articulating Visions of Sustainability in Asia and the Pacific”. The Congress will focus on research fields of oceanology, environmental, climate, energy and social science, with topics including climate and earth systems, biodiversity and ecosystems, food/water/energy, human health and well-being, science and technology future, science for society, ocean health, etc.
